I try to not get too caught up in what it is I shoot. My basic attitude is "shoot what you see"

This week it was concrete impressions and ...Bugs!

I caught these shots in San Antonio area  while walking near a lake.

King of the Hill

 These guys were arguing over this perch that was near a feeder!

 Some time you just need to be ready! I saw the one sitting start to squawk and  knew something was going to happen.

Water

I love the way the water dripping creates the ripples in this picture. Click on the picture for a bigger view.

I got this Ruby Throated Hummingbird resting from the record heat this  week. Remember to keep at least one feeder up all year to help along the resident birds.

I am starting research on my second book..Kayak Launch points in fresh water around Texas. these shots were taken  at Sheldon Reservior

 Just a short drive east of Houston off Beltway 8 this is a great spot to paddle and fish!

I will continue to post my travels as I compile this "work"!
