I got this Ruby Throated Hummingbird resting from the record heat this  week. Remember to keep at least one feeder up all year to help along the resident birds.

 Just a short drive east of Houston off Beltway 8 this is a great spot to paddle and fish!

Grumpy?

This was taken on a very cold day! This mockingbird was all puffed up trying to keep warm! I never would have guessed I would get a shot like this on such a cold windy day. You never know....

Be sure to check your dates! I shot this last year in April. I need to get my Humming Bird Feeders up!!

I have had he eastern bluebird around for a while. Catching him for a good shot was quite another task! As you can see patience pays off!
